Maalaga Social foundation provides Nutritious food for the women and Children through 2 medium of distribution; cooked food packets to street children that has Nutritious mix of the necessary vitamins and proteins and in rural areas we have corporate partnerships with food processing companies that distribute cereals and other nutritious food products as part of their CSR programs.
In our rural school we provide a complete diet that is needed for growing children. This includes vegetarian and non – vegetarian diet like egg and chicken.
Setting up of demonstration kitchen gardens and entry point activities, such as backyard fruit tree plantations and extensive engagement with women farmers by project staff.
The objective of the training on nutrition and kitchen gardening is to:
Increase the women farmers’ knowledge about nutrition
Enable them to improve household nutrition
Set up kitchen gardens for in-house nutrition management.
